Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy).
  • At least 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industries.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical development and clinical research across Phases I–IV.
  • 2–3 years of experience leading multiple components of a global clinical trial.
  • Proven leadership in fostering team productivity, collaboration, and cohesiveness.
  • Experience leading without direct authority in complex, matrixed, and global environments.
  • Strong decision-making, analytical, project planning, and financial management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and supporting the development of colleagues.
  • Understanding of clinical trial systems, compliance requirements, research ethics, and SOPs.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15–20%.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update trial-specific documentation such as monitoring guidelines and informed consent materials.
  • Coordinate study vendor setup, scope of work development, budget oversight, and day-to-day delivery management.
  • Lead country and regional coordination of trial management activities and monitor operational risks.
  • Support the development of program-level compound training in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide input into trial-level operational strategies and implement risk mitigation plans.
  • Support Health Authority inspections and contribute to program-level risk identification.
  • Mentor team members and promote engagement, inclusion, and collaboration in a matrixed environment.
