Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent with active RN licensure.
- 8+ years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
- 2+ years of experience in utilization management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Utilization Management, Quality Management, Care Management, and/or Chronic Condition Management.
- Understanding of reimbursement models including commercial payers, Medicaid, and Medicare.
- Understanding of CMS and payer regulations regarding patient status and care management.
- Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel 20-50% of the time to domestic locations for client or business meets.
- Proficiency with core software applications including Google Workspace, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and services teams to execute the strategic plan for AwareUM.
- Audit for product accuracy and effectiveness, communicating with product teams for changes as identified.
- Assess the effectiveness of AwareUM technology in creating efficient workflows for UM nurses.
- Deliver on go-forward product milestones, balancing client requests with new capability investments.
- Collaborate with the UM growth team to support a smooth sales delivery process.
- Collaborate with the CX team to create a seamless, integrated, and consistent user experience.
- Manage the client experience, implementation milestones, client support requests, and monitor successful product use.
