Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Active, current, and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of residence.
- 1+ years of Med/Surg experience.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
- Associates degree required (BSN preferred).
- Must be willing and able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 10-hour shifts.
- Must complete approx 4-5 months of training Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm EST.
- Must have a direct/hardwired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload).
- Designated, private home workspace compliant with HIPAA guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Utilize clinical experience to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate healthcare services for members.
- Gather clinical information and apply appropriate clinical criteria, policies, and guidelines to render coverage determinations.
- Communicate with providers and other parties to facilitate care and treatment.
- Identify members for referral opportunities to integrate with other products, services and programs.
- Identify opportunities to promote quality effectiveness of Healthcare Services and benefit utilization.
- Consult and lend expertise to internal and external constituents in the administration of utilization management functions.
