Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience (including specialty/HIV experience) OR 5+ years of experience in HIV/AIDS or public health community-based organizations.
  • Ability to travel domestically as necessary, including nights/weekends and overnight travel.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong connection to and understanding of community needs, specifically HIV prevention or treatment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strategic business plans with measurable, action-oriented objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience navigating, organizing, and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Experience in defining and executing market development strategies.
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and execute business by working within the local community to elevate our innovative approach to HIV prevention and treatment.
  • Identify and lead community-related initiatives that align to augmenting territory level sales in partnership with matrix teams.
  • Deliver branded and unbranded content targeting Allied Healthcare Professionals (AHCPs) and patients/consumers.
  • Engage with social workers, case managers, and outreach workers in key community organizations.
  • Provide culturally relevant and appropriate resources for discussing PrEP and Treatment options.
  • Develop strong community networks and establish pathways to PrEP and linkage to care.
  • Align and execute business plans tailored to the unique needs within a local market.
  • Coordinate and partner with cross-functional team members (Sales, Clinical Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers, and Medical).
  • Maintain a portfolio-based selling mindset and ensure a cohesive, integrated ViiV experience for customers.
