Requirements
- Solid experience building production-grade, user-facing software systems.
- Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building applications powered by GenAI.
- Proven track record of delivering software that is successfully deployed to production.
- Experience working in cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using observability tools to understand and troubleshoot system behavior.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and make pragmatic architectural decisions.
- Strong self-starter capable of tackling complex engineering problems with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable iterating on prototypes based on user feedback.
- Effective communication skills for a collaborative, remote-first environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and operate services for context ingestion, indexing, retrieval orchestration, and API access.
- Define and build the architecture for a multi-tenant service, including tenant isolation, usage tracking, and audit logs.
- Build APIs and service interfaces for AI agents, MCP tools, and CLIs to retrieve relevant enterprise context.
- Partner with the team to balance rapid experimentation with long-term reliability for a new production-grade product.
- Instrument services with metrics, logs, traces, and alerts to maintain system health and reliability.
- Contribute to technical direction regarding architecture, service boundaries, storage choices, and deployment patterns.
