Requirements
- 8+ years of full-stack production experience using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience building and shipping native mobile apps (iOS or Android) using React Native.
- Deep understanding of mobile app store release processes and post-launch maintenance.
- Strong system-design instincts with a focus on long-term maintainability, reliability, and scalability.
- Experience building accessible web applications compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
- Experience with modern cloud-native development, CI/CD, and system observability.
- Ability to review and utilize AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code or Copilot.
- Track record of setting technical direction and mentoring engineers in distributed team environments.
- Strong judgment on technical debt management and delivery prioritization.
Responsibilities
- Own the React Native companion app from architecture and instrumentation to app-store release and post-launch iteration.
- Work side-by-side with the web application team to build and maintain new full-stack features.
- Ship end-to-end features including accessible React UIs, type-safe APIs, and GraphQL layers.
- Evaluate architectural trade-offs and communicate engineering decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure system reliability through instrumentation, incident response, and performance analysis.
- Mentor engineers and improve delivery processes, including testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and development tooling.
