Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
- 2–4+ years of accounting experience in a CPG company
- Omnichannel (DTC + Amazon + retail/wholesale) experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on NetSuite experience required (saved searches, item receipts, general ledger)
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Exposure or experience using AI Models (Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini)
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative structure and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly and annual close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across significant accounts
- Prepare and deliver complete, accurate monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet and P&L)
- Lead the annual audit process and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and consistent application of accounting policies
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and key sub-ledger accounts
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and Sales/Marketing to ensure accurate accounting treatment
