Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 4+ years, Master's with 7+ years, or Bachelor's with 9+ years of communications or public relations experience.
- 10–12 years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs within biotech, pharma, or healthcare.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing integrated global communications for investigational products.
- Experience with communications around clinical data, regulatory milestones, and launch activities.
- Proven experience supporting product launches in competitive healthcare or pharmaceutical markets.
- Strong understanding of communications within complex, highly regulated scientific and healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work with global affiliates and adapt strategies for regional markets.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across highly matrixed organizations and with senior executives.
- Experience in media relations, issues management, digital and social media, and internal communications.
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to translate complex information into clear communications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated global communications strategies across obesity and related-condition indications.
- Create and refine indication-specific narratives, key messages, and communication frameworks.
- Lead communications planning around clinical data readouts, regulatory events, and medical congresses.
- Partner with Clinical Development, Medical, Regulatory, Commercial, and Investor Relations teams.
- Serve as a trusted communications advisor, translating complex scientific information into compelling messaging.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain consistent narratives across media, digital, and internal channels.
- Provide strategic counsel on disease education and thought-leadership initiatives.
- Equip regional and affiliate teams with strategic guidance and resources for local market implementation.
