Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in private credit, direct lending, specialty finance, or leveraged finance.
- Proven experience with underwriting and closing institutional credit transactions.
- Deep fluency in credit analysis, financial modeling, covenant design, and credit documentation.
- Ability to build credit policy, standards, and infrastructure from scratch.
- Experience in an early-stage or first-time credit fund setting is strongly preferred.
- Experience lending against media, IP, royalties, or recurring digital revenue is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- MBA or CFA charter is preferred.
- Exceptional ability to interface with investment committees, LPs, and founders.
- Strong judgment in risk assessment and deal selection.
- Capability to build and mentor a team of credit analysts and associates.
Responsibilities
- Design the fund's underwriting framework, including credit policies, standards, methodologies, and approval workflows.
- Integrate proprietary payments telemetry and game-revenue data into the underwriting process.
- Lead the underwriting and structuring of lending facilities, including term loans and royalty-based structures.
- Draft and negotiate term sheets and credit documentation with borrowers and external counsel.
- Manage the credit committee process, document decisions, and maintain an audit trail for institutional scrutiny.
- Establish portfolio monitoring, covenant tracking, and workout procedures.
- Act as the credit authority in LP meetings and assist with fundraising and portfolio construction strategy.
- Codify credit playbooks and mentor junior team members as the fund scales.
