Requirements
- 3+ years of HR generalist, HR management, or similar human resources experience.
- Healthcare or behavioral health HR experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of California employment law and wage-and-hour requirements.
- Experience working with an HRIS (Rippling experience is a plus).
- Experience managing recruiting and applicant-tracking workflows.
- Familiarity with employee background checks and credentialing processes in a licensed or regulated environment.
- Experience coordinating employee changes with payroll or bookkeeping teams.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage active recruiting pipelines for clinical and administrative positions.
- Oversee end-to-end new-hire onboarding, including employment agreements and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain credentialing documentation and track professional certifications for clinical staff.
- Ensure employment practices remain compliant with California requirements and support audit-ready record keeping.
- Coordinate with payroll and bookkeeping partners to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee changes.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR questions and concerns.
- Manage employee offboarding processes, including final-pay compliance and equipment returns.
