Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, bare metal, or GPU/HPC platforms.
- Demonstrated experience shipping production-grade infrastructure software.
- Technical fluency in bare metal provisioning, out-of-band server management (Redfish, IPMI), and PXE boot.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals, including pods, controllers, CRDs, and the operator pattern.
- Ability to engage in credible technical conversations with engineers.
- Experience in customer-facing roles interacting with platform engineers and architects.
- Adaptability to startup pace and environment.
Responsibilities
- Align on business priorities and technical direction for vMetal and translate them into engineering specifications.
- Partner with the Head of Product and engineering leadership on product roadmap tradeoffs.
- Conduct hands-on validation of alpha and beta builds against physical hardware to identify integration issues.
- Engage directly with platform engineers at AI Cloud operators and hyperscalers.
- Track the bare metal and GPU infrastructure ecosystem and develop technical messaging for buyers.
- Bridge engineering, sales, and marketing functions to ensure alignment on product delivery.
