Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in cloud infrastructure, bare metal, or GPU/HPC platforms.
- Proven experience shipping software that other engineers depend on in production.
- Understanding of bare metal provisioning, out-of-band server management (Redfish, IPMI), and PXE boot.
- Comfortable with Kubernetes fundamentals, including pods, controllers, CRDs, and the operator pattern.
- Ability to engage in credible technical conversations with engineers.
- Experience working directly with platform engineers and architects in a customer-facing capacity.
- Adaptability to startup pace and changing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Align on business priorities and technical direction for vMetal and translate them into engineering specifications.
- Partner with the Head of Product and engineering leadership on strategic product tradeoffs.
- Run alpha and beta builds, including hands-on testing against real bare metal hardware.
- Engage directly with platform engineers at AI Cloud operators and hyperscalers.
- Track the bare metal and GPU infrastructure ecosystem to sharpen narrative and market positioning.
- Bridge engineering, sales, and marketing functions to ensure alignment on product support and sales.
