- Proven experience growing online communities, audiences, or organic acquisition channels.
- Strong ability to think in terms of growth metrics rather than just content.
- Excellent English writing skills with the ability to communicate authentically.
- Active interest and understanding of generative AI tools and workflows.
- Ability to work autonomously and move quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Demonstrated 0-to-100 mindset with a track record of taking ownership of projects.
- Experience analyzing community and content performance metrics.
- Familiarity with Reddit search and content visibility.
- Nice to have: Experience growing a subreddit, working with creators/ambassadors, or basic content creation skills (memes, GIFs, videos).
Responsibilities
- Build and scale OpenArt's Reddit presence from zero to one hundred.
- Develop and execute strategies for community growth, user acquisition, and organic distribution.
- Create recurring community programs, challenges, and discussions to foster member retention.
- Identify and engage with relevant AI, design, and creator communities on Reddit.
- Moderate the subreddit to maintain community standards while fostering authentic participation.
- Analyze Reddit conversations to provide actionable insights for product and marketing teams.
- Experiment with various content formats and growth tactics to scale successful initiatives.
