Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience supporting IT programs or enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience administering enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience managing backup, recovery, replication, high-availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Expertise in database performance tuning, optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in supporting enterprise server environments (Windows/Linux) and network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, and configuration management).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability, Public Trust, Secret, or higher security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead administrator for enterprise database, system, and network environments supporting mission-critical operations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise database platforms, operating systems, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Manage database performance, availability, scalability, integrity, and security across all environments.
  • Implement and maintain backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Support database security and compliance through access controls, auditing, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and cybersecurity teams on operations and modernization.
  • Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements and support ATO activities.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
  • Participate in 24x7 operational on-call support.
