Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting IT programs or enterprise technology environments.
- Experience administering enterprise database platforms such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience managing backup, recovery, replication, high-availability, and disaster recovery.
- Expertise in database performance tuning, optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in supporting enterprise server environments (Windows/Linux) and network infrastructure.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, and configuration management).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability, Public Trust, Secret, or higher security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead administrator for enterprise database, system, and network environments supporting mission-critical operations.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise database platforms, operating systems, and supporting infrastructure.
- Manage database performance, availability, scalability, integrity, and security across all environments.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Support database security and compliance through access controls, auditing, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, and cybersecurity teams on operations and modernization.
- Support cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements and support ATO activities.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
- Participate in 24x7 operational on-call support.
