- Demonstrated experience in Platform Engineering with a focus on CI/CD in organizations of 250+ engineers.
- Proven experience owning and operating CI/CD platforms at administrative and architectural levels.
- Deep expertise with GitOps and declarative configuration at scale.
- Strong hands-on software engineering background delivering production-quality software.
- Practical experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms.
- Strong understanding and enthusiasm for progressive delivery practices.
- Demonstrated ability to establish technical direction and influence engineering leaders.
- Strong collaboration skills for working across distributed teams and time zones.
- Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the architecture and technical direction of CI/CD and configuration management across a large-scale production fleet.
- Design templated, repeatable processes for provisioning new production environments.
- Define reference architectures and performance profiles for Kubernetes clusters.
- Establish scalable solutions for managing version skew and release cadence.
- Set best practices for progressive delivery, including canary releases and automated rollbacks.
- Build self-service paved paths for product engineering teams.
- Evolve the Internal Developer Portal to simplify software delivery.
- Partner with security and compliance teams to ensure governance.
- Embed AI-powered tools into the software development lifecycle.
