Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in healthcare services, operations, integration, facilities, construction, or project management.
  • Strong project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience navigating state-specific healthcare permitting, licensing, and Certificate of Need (CON) processes.
  • Understanding of healthcare construction requirements, life safety codes, facility regulations, and accreditation standards (AAAHC, CMS).
  • Experience coordinating inspections, regulatory approvals, and operational requirements for facility openings.
  • Clinical background (RN, BSN, or Allied Health Professional) strongly preferred.
  • PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to use KPIs for decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and influence senior leaders.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to facilities and project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the integration of ambulatory surgery center construction projects, including new developments, relocations, expansions, and renovations.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for integration execution, coordinating cross-functional clinical, construction, and regulatory teams.
  • Establish and manage integrated master schedules covering equipment, staffing, workflows, and operational milestones.
  • Coordinate state licensing, accreditation readiness, inspections, and regulatory approvals necessary for facility openings.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could affect project timelines, costs, compliance, or patient care.
  • Develop and maintain integration frameworks, project management tools, and standardized processes for scaling projects.
  • Provide data-driven insights and KPIs to senior stakeholders to support strategic decisions and resource allocation.
