Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in IT/CS preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience (setup, configuration, design, migration).
- 2+ years of server engineering experience with enterprise storage solutions.
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of Tier One server hardware and Windows Server technologies.
- Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SCCM, SQL, Exchange, SharePoint, and Citrix.
- Experience with server virtualization technologies (VMware, Citrix).
- Strong understanding of information security (firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection, logging).
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux, networking components, internet protocols, PKI, PGP, and digital certificates.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound technical judgment.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute migrations of on-premises infrastructure, workloads, and data to Microsoft Azure.
- Manage Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, App Services, and virtual networks.
- Administer Active Directory and sync operations between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Develop PowerShell and Azure PowerShell scripts to support operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to respond to incidents, vulnerabilities, and system maintenance needs.
- Support server audits, backup procedures, and disaster recovery initiatives.
