Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering with Microsoft Azure (ingestion, ETL/ELT, big data).
- Proficiency in Azure data services: Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Scala for Spark jobs.
- Experience managing code and building deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps (Repos & Pipelines).
- Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep, ARM templates, or Terraform).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure fundamentals (cloud networking, security, RBAC, monitoring).
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Pipelines.
- Develop and optimize large-scale data processing jobs using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Scala.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep) and Azure DevOps CI/CD.
- Support day-to-day operations of the Azure Modern Data Platform, including monitoring stability, networking, and data security.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with Azure best practices.
