Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience in production Azure environments.
- 3+ years of experience leading or executing on-premises-to-cloud migrations, including assessment and cutover planning.
- 2+ years of experience with legacy on-premises infrastructure, physical servers, and data center operations.
- Deep knowledge of Azure core services, architecture patterns, and Azure AD/RBAC.
- Strong proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Experience with container tooling such as Docker or AKS.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
- Strong scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Working understanding of Java.
- Excellent communication and experience supporting distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead application and infrastructure migrations from on-premises environments into Azure, including vSphere and Pure Storage workloads.
- Assess and upgrade legacy commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software for cloud modernization.
- Architect and implement infrastructure using Azure Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Develop and maintain IaC modules using Bicep or Terraform.
- Build scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Configure Azure-native services including AKS, App Services, SQL Database, and Cosmos DB.
- Design and implement complex multi-subscription networking topologies using Private Link, Virtual WAN, and Palo Alto firewalls.
- Manage security, compliance, and identity integrations using Azure AD, Key Vault, and RBAC.
