Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Education, Finance, or a related field, or 1-2 years of relevant experience with Medicare provider-based and RHC regulations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of ambulatory operations, revenue cycle functions, and clinical workflows.
- Knowledge of Medicare provider-based and rural health clinic regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to develop professional reports, presentations, and project documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to leadership and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, including the capacity to identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Ability to build productive relationships across clinical, operational, financial, technical, and administrative teams.
- Willingness and ability to conduct onsite assessments and travel between provider-based clinics and RHC locations when required.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate multiple projects and special initiatives supporting provider-based operations, sustainability, performance, and strategic organizational objectives.
- Serve as a central point of contact across ambulatory operations, clinical leadership, information technology, revenue cycle, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage project communications, deliverables, deadlines, department initiatives, stakeholder relationships, and overall project coordination.
- Develop reports, presentations, project updates, and other materials that communicate findings, progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with agreed timelines, targets, expectations, scope, and established operating parameters, negotiating changes when necessary.
- Interpret and communicate applicable CMS provider-based requirements, including 42 CFR 413.65.
- Coordinate and conduct onsite gap assessments for provider-based clinics and rural health clinics as needed, documenting findings and identifying improvement opportunities.
