Requirements
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Proficiency in PPS reimbursement methodologies including MS-DRG, APR-DRG, APC, and RBRVS.
- At least 1 year of experience managing contract deliverables or comparable healthcare projects.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with coding audits, client-facing processes, and revenue cycle environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Establish project timelines, coordinate audit tools, communicate expectations, and monitor progress.
- Address client questions, communicate audit findings, and participate in exit conferences and education sessions.
- Support audit teams with remote access and identify issues requiring management intervention.
- Prepare audit summary reports and review recommendations for quality and consistency.
- Perform coding audits and educational sessions as needed.
- Train new auditors, conduct peer-to-peer reviews, and provide feedback.
- Assist management with time, attendance, and production tracking.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and recommend improvements to audit software and analytics.
