Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
  • Proficiency in PPS reimbursement methodologies including MS-DRG, APR-DRG, APC, and RBRVS.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing contract deliverables or comparable healthcare projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with coding audits, client-facing processes, and revenue cycle environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

  • Establish project timelines, coordinate audit tools, communicate expectations, and monitor progress.
  • Address client questions, communicate audit findings, and participate in exit conferences and education sessions.
  • Support audit teams with remote access and identify issues requiring management intervention.
  • Prepare audit summary reports and review recommendations for quality and consistency.
  • Perform coding audits and educational sessions as needed.
  • Train new auditors, conduct peer-to-peer reviews, and provide feedback.
  • Assist management with time, attendance, and production tracking.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services and recommend improvements to audit software and analytics.
