Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
- 5+ years of clinical or research industry experience
- 3+ years of project management or project setup experience
- Thorough knowledge of Project Management processes
- Understanding of company laboratory processes or equivalent central laboratory operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and centralized laboratory systems
- Experience managing study documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including eTMF filing
- Strong interpersonal and customer management skills
- Thorough understanding of medical and clinical research terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Lead study setup activities, including protocol and budget review, project planning, milestone tracking, and risk, issue, and action log management
- Partner with Study Setup teams to support quality database setup and oversee preparation of protocol-specific documentation
- Manage study timelines, deliverables, documentation, eTMF filing, monitoring, reporting, and closeout activities
- Build and own customer relationships, facilitate communication, and coordinate resolution of study-specific issues
- Lead customer meetings, presentations, health checks, and governance activities in partnership with senior operational and business development teams
- Represent the company at investigator meetings, audits, inspections, and other internal or external meetings
- Provide study training to sites, CRAs, and customers while maintaining regular communication with sites
- Support process improvement projects, department-level assignments, mentoring, and best-practice development
