Requirements
- 1–3 years of accounting experience including general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and foundational accounting principles.
- Experience supporting month-end close and maintaining accurate financial documentation.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve discrepancies.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the Finance team with day-to-day accounting activities including preparing journal entries and reviewing transaction activity.
- Assist with monthly close activities such as preparing account reconciliations and reviewing general ledger activity.
- Review accounting data for completeness and accuracy, investigate variances, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Collaborate with Finance team members and cross-functional partners to resolve accounting questions and ensure recurring processes move forward.
- Support recurring reporting, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives to enhance documentation and efficiency.
