Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience at a startup or public accounting firm
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite)
- Commitment to learning and developing skills
- Willingness to build systems and processes
- CPA license (current or in process) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Assist with monthly financial closes, creating journal entries, and performing account reconciliations
- Maintain and support financial tools and systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure accurate close package reporting
- Manage intercompany allocations and consolidate business results
- Partner with stakeholders to implement accounting processes, systems, and internal controls
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and special projects
