Requirements
- Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies.
- Proven experience independently managing voluntary and involuntary employee exits (terminations).
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
- Ability to analyze complex HR issues and interpret industrial instruments in ambiguous environments.
- Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Aptitude for automation, AI tools, and process optimization.
- Experience collaborating asynchronously in a remote team environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to use, adapt to, and evolve with new technical systems.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits with minimal supervision across international jurisdictions.
- Advise clients on HR matters including terminations, resignations, transfers, and redundancy processes.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and employees, such as workforce reduction consultations and settlement negotiations.
- Influence and negotiate outcomes in complex terminations, coordinating with stakeholders like payroll, legal, and unions.
- Draft and administer termination documentation while ensuring strict privacy and confidentiality.
- Process offboarding in the HRIS platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate exit administration.
- Provide first-level support for workplace concerns, assessing facts and advising on local regulations and discipline.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and product development opportunities.
