Requirements

  • Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies.
  • Proven experience independently managing voluntary and involuntary employee exits (terminations).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • Ability to analyze complex HR issues and interpret industrial instruments in ambiguous environments.
  • Superior communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Aptitude for automation, AI tools, and process optimization.
  • Experience collaborating asynchronously in a remote team environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to use, adapt to, and evolve with new technical systems.
  • Tertiary qualifications in HR, labour relations, or employment law (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits with minimal supervision across international jurisdictions.
  • Advise clients on HR matters including terminations, resignations, transfers, and redundancy processes.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and employees, such as workforce reduction consultations and settlement negotiations.
  • Influence and negotiate outcomes in complex terminations, coordinating with stakeholders like payroll, legal, and unions.
  • Draft and administer termination documentation while ensuring strict privacy and confidentiality.
  • Process offboarding in the HRIS platform and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate exit administration.
  • Provide first-level support for workplace concerns, assessing facts and advising on local regulations and discipline.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and product development opportunities.
