Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on software quality assurance and testing experience, ideally involving web and mobile applications.
  • Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, or developing Quality Analysts or Software Engineers in Test.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, test strategy, test automation, and quality engineering practices.
  • Experience developing automated tests using tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
  • Familiarity with C# and TypeScript is highly desirable.
  • Experience with code deployments, version control systems, and software development workflows.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments and tools such as Bamboo or GitLab.
  • Experience building or extending test automation frameworks and developing testing tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for issue triage and prioritization.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
  • Previous experience managing remote teams is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Analysts responsible for designing and executing test cases and scenarios.
  • Define and implement an automation-first testing strategy to increase coverage and efficiency.
  • Partner with quality managers, product owners, and developers to establish testing strategies and quality standards.
  • Design test strategies, test tools, frameworks, and cases to support scalable software delivery.
  • Extend and improve existing test frameworks and develop new tools to meet evolving testing needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement across test planning, execution, and reporting processes.
  • Support the triage and resolution of quality issues while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and maintain strong communication across time zones.
  • Provide leadership in a remote environment to foster accountability and a strong quality culture.
