Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a finance or analytical role within a casualty brokerage firm, third-party claim administrator, or corporate risk management department.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in drafting formal documents, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Experience querying Risk Management Information System (RMIS) tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of GXO’s workers compensation program.
  • Develop annual objectives, key results, and KPIs to measure program performance.
  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics and industry benchmarks.
  • Evaluate vendor and subcontracted vendor performance through cost-benefit and feasibility analyses.
  • Oversee return-to-work (RTW) performance against Workers Compensation strategy and best practice guidelines.
  • Manage the litigation platform, including defense counsel outcomes and litigation KPIs.
  • Review and recommend litigation management guidelines and request for proposal documents.
  • Manage day-to-day workers compensation training and communication platforms.
  • Design and manage an external quality assurance program to ensure compliance with best practices.
