Responsibilities
- Coordinate appointments with providers for patients, referring physicians, and facilities.
- Communicate key information regarding insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and appointment logistics.
- Maintain and update patient records and insurance panels.
- Verify insurance benefits using eligibility systems, websites, or phone calls.
- Handle billing inquiries, collect patient payments, and process them accurately.
- Resolve insurance coverage issues in collaboration with billing teams.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, referral sources, and staff.
