Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial hands-on experience developing full-stack Java applications.
- Deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and distributed system architecture.
- Strong experience with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML services or developing AI-enhanced product capabilities, including familiarity with LLM-powered solutions or intelligent automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers, guiding engineering teams, and making architecture and technology decisions.
- Experience with observability, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and secure software architecture.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-native development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work directly with clients and explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated curiosity, adaptability, and a continuous-improvement mindset, with an interest in using AI to enhance engineering outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture and design of full-stack Java applications using Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, and modern front-end frameworks.
- Guide hands-on development while establishing high standards for code quality, maintainability, security, scalability, and engineering excellence.
- Drive the integration of AI and machine learning capabilities into enterprise solutions, including LLM-powered functionality, intelligent automation, and AI-assisted workflows.
- Champion AI-assisted engineering tools and practices that improve development velocity, reliability, quality, and developer experience.
- Mentor and coach engineers across different experience levels, fostering continuous learning, technical growth, and strong engineering practices.
- Collaborate with product, data, AI, and engineering teams to define technical strategy and deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.
- Oversee application performance, scalability, observability, reliability, and security across the technology stack.
- Contribute to cloud architecture, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices to support reliable and efficient software delivery.
- Facilitate technical discussions with clients and stakeholders, translating complex engineering concepts into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, and actionable decisions.
