Requirements
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 2+ years operating as a tech lead or staff engineer.
- Strong proficiency in at least 3 of: Python, Java/Spring Boot, PHP/Laravel, TypeScript/React.
- Hands-on production experience with AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS/Fargate, and EventBridge.
- Proven experience breaking monolithic architectures into microservices using domain-driven design.
- Full-stack delivery experience including ownership of frontend and backend performance.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs at scale using REST, SOAP, and webhooks.
- Experience with both relational (MySQL/Aurora) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) data models.
- Strong written communication skills for creating clear technical design documentation.
- Ability to build reusable abstractions without over-engineering.
- Experience working with both onshore and offshore engineers.
Responsibilities
- Own multiple product or platform areas end-to-end with a team of 3-5 engineers.
- Drive service design and delivery, including dual-write rollouts and traffic-splitting.
- Deliver full-stack applications through micro-frontend and microservice architectures.
- Integrate AI agents by managing tool contracts, schema, SLAs, and guardrails.
- Improve team velocity, code quality, and productivity through design reviews and mentoring.
- Manage on-call duties, incident ownership, and cross-team service contracts.
