Requirements

  • 3–5 years of progressive human resources experience, including exposure to training and development.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and adult learning principles.
  • Experience supporting employees across multiple states is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage employee records, spreadsheets, forms, and HR systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills to assess complex HR situations.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated discretion, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or relevant training certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10–20% across the U.S. for on-site business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with practice and corporate leaders to assess workforce needs and align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage HR communications, reports, and documentation, maintaining secure personnel records in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Coordinate the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, promotions, terminations, and exit reporting.
  • Support goal setting, performance reviews, development plans, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and facilitate organizational training programs on HR policies, compliance, and harassment prevention.
  • Monitor federal, state, and local employment laws, recommending policy updates and supporting audits.
  • Assist with investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, grievances, and mediation.
  • Administer benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and PTO, while supporting open enrollment.
  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle, including timekeeping, deductions, and tax compliance.
  • Evaluate and improve HR and payroll processes for greater efficiency and consistency.
