Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- At least 5 years of project management experience.
- 4+ years of experience in provider network development, contracting, or provider lifecycle management preferred.
- Strong experience in the healthcare payer industry, with knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification or training; PgMP certification preferred.
- Deep understanding of project management processes, methodologies, tools, and development lifecycles, ideally including Agile approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multimillion-dollar programs involving large cross-functional teams and multiple vendors.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook).
- Experience working with project and program management software.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, critical-thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels and gain consensus.
- Demonstrated ability to use emerging and AI-enabled technologies to improve program efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain integrated program workplans covering provider network initiatives such as network expansion, contracting, onboarding, and provider lifecycle optimization.
- Facilitate recurring program cadences, including weekly status meetings, risk reviews, leadership updates, and governance sessions.
- Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and commitments while driving accountability across cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain a centralized risk and issue management framework, proactively identifying blockers, interdependencies, and mitigation actions.
- Prepare concise, executive-ready weekly summaries covering progress against plan, key risks, mitigation strategies, upcoming milestones, and decisions required.
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison between Network Development & Contracting, Provider Operations, Data & Analytics, IT, and system configuration teams.
- Lead large, cross-functional project teams involving 20+ core members and multiple external vendors.
- Manage complex, multimillion-dollar programs while maintaining focus on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
- Promote and utilize AI-enabled tools to improve project planning, execution, reporting, risk management, stakeholder communications, and decision-making.
