Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Category Management, Customer Management, Consumer Insights, or Sales Strategy.
- Strong CPG and Beauty industry experience required.
- Demonstrated understanding of category dynamics, shopper behavior, and retail environments.
- Proven ability to present strategic recommendations to senior executives and C-suite audiences.
- Extensive experience with data sources such as Nielsen/Circana, Scintilla, panel providers, and digital commerce data.
- Ability to connect traditional analytics with emerging capabilities to generate differentiated insights.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-workstream initiatives and managing external agency partners.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Previous experience working directly with Walmart or large-scale retail environments is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Lead shopper and category strategy to drive continuous improvement of growth processes and innovative tools.
- Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the retailer’s Beauty and Personal Care Merchandising organization.
- Lead complex, multi-workstream initiatives involving internal stakeholders and external agency partners.
- Integrate shopper, market, commercial, and consumer insights to establish short- and long-term strategic positioning.
- Translate complex data and insights into actionable execution plans and decisive business recommendations.
- Develop executive-ready selling stories that combine quantitative data, shopper insights, and creative thinking.
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members while fostering an inclusive and collaborative high-performing culture.
