Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, member engagement, or a related field.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, or population health management is preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and contact center software is an advantage.
- Ability to work Pacific or Mountain time zone hours.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive health information with strict commitment to privacy and compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to perform in a performance-driven, goal-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Proactively contact prospective members through multiple communication channels to explain program benefits and encourage enrollment.
- Build rapport and trust with members through active listening, empathy, personalized communication, and a respectful approach.
- Consistently achieve engagement targets established through departmental performance metrics.
- Educate prospective members about the value of program participation and address questions, concerns, and barriers to enrollment.
- Represent the organization with a positive, professional, and engaging approach in every interaction.
- Handle protected health information responsibly and maintain accurate member records in accordance with HIPAA and privacy guidelines.
- Document member interactions accurately and communicate feedback to leadership.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities to improve outreach strategies.
