Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in power, renewable energy, agronomy, environmental studies, or project management.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a project development role.
- Successful track record in identifying and securing renewable energy projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a multifaceted environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Solid analytical skills and ability to perform feasibility studies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Irish renewable sector and local administrative processes.
- Valid driver's license (held for more than 1 year) is essential for required travel.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new energy opportunities including wind, solar, and BESS through data analysis and site studies.
- Develop and maintain local networks with stakeholders such as landowners, industrial clients, and local authorities.
- Manage the end-to-end development lifecycle including site selection, permitting, and pre-construction tasks.
- Lead commercial negotiations for acquisitions and structure Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
- Coordinate with legal, technical, and environmental consultants to prepare and submit permitting applications.
- Manage project risk assessments, procurement, and EPC contract negotiations.
