Requirements
- Demonstrated track record of building and leading a world-class Solutions/Sales Engineering team.
- Experience selling and supporting a technical product to technical buyers such as engineers, security teams, and architects.
- Experience as a manager of managers leading distributed or global teams across multiple time zones.
- Proven ability to own the technical experience across the entire customer journey.
- Hands-on disposition, willing to step into and lead high-stakes customer calls.
- Proven track record of building or scaling RFP and security assessment functions.
- Experience technically enabling channel/partner ecosystems.
- Strong partnership orientation with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Enablement teams.
- Excellent executive communication skills, credible with C-level buyers and technical evaluators.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop distributed managers and their teams of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants across regions.
- Lead the Sales Engineering team to drive pipeline conversion through world-class demos, proofs of concept, technical discovery, and value engineering.
- Lead the Solutions Consultants team as the technical escalation path for CSMs and the driver of technical cross-sell.
- Personally participate in and lead high-stakes customer calls to set the technical standard.
- Build a scalable, high-quality function for RFPs, security questionnaires, and technical/security assessments.
- Technically enable partners through training, certification, and deal support.
- Capture and channel field technical feedback to Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
