Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering, 5+ of them focused on backend.
- Deep TypeScript proficiency.
- Strong experience with Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven mentorship track record.
- Solid command of Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Scrum or Kanban.
- Proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
- English at C1 level or above, written and spoken.
- AI-native working style using AI tools in daily development.
- Available to start your day at 7:00 Brazil local time.
Responsibilities
- Own backend development end to end: technology selection, architecture design, and implementation of features.
- Build AI-first using coding agents, LLMs, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Set code quality benchmarks, development practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor engineers and raise the bar on backend practices.
- Challenge existing workflows and propose improvements.
