Requirements

  • Proven experience with corporate pressure campaigns, corporate engagement, and/or corporate negotiations.
  • Demonstrated involvement in campaign strategy development and execution.
  • Ability to assess complex situations, identify opportunities, and develop practical, context-aware solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions, trainings, or working sessions effectively.
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the animal protection movement or other advocacy movements in Europe.
  • Commitment to THL’s mission to end the abuse of animals raised for food.
  • Valid, up-to-date passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally (6+ trips per year).

Responsibilities

  • Provide OWA member groups in Europe with strategic guidance on corporate campaign development and support the translation of strategy into active campaign execution.
  • Coach and support groups to build capacity to independently execute high-impact campaigns while maintaining momentum and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with groups to identify challenges, troubleshoot issues, and overcome bottlenecks.
  • Support the adaptation of campaign strategies and tactics to different local and regional contexts.
  • Lead in-person and virtual trainings on corporate campaigning and corporate outreach.
  • Develop and maintain resources and training materials to strengthen campaign effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with OWA member groups.
