Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree.
- Hands-on commercial HVAC estimating experience, including ductwork, sheet metal, equipment, and piping.
- Deep understanding of U.S. codes, labor rates, and estimating conventions.
- Full-time availability during U.S. business hours.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with large commercial HVAC projects.
- Strong Bluebeam skills.
- Proficiency with Procore.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Responsibilities
- Prepare complete estimates for commercial HVAC projects from drawings and specifications.
- Execute detailed material and equipment take-offs for ductwork, sheet metal, air handling equipment, piping, insulation, and hangers.
- Build labor pricing using U.S. labor rates and productivity factors.
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor quotes.
- Analyze scopes of work to identify exclusions, qualifications, and potential scope gaps.
- Assemble and submit complete, competitive bid packages within deadlines.
- Develop and maintain company cost databases, estimating templates, and standardized workflows.
- Provide project management support by preparing submittals, tracking documentation, and assisting with change orders.
