Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on construction estimating experience in the U.S. market.
- Strong experience estimating plumbing, mechanical, and civil piping work.
- Commercial or industrial construction experience required.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or government projects strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Procore and FastPipe.
- Experience with estimating and construction software such as Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Civil engineering background or equivalent technical training preferred.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, quantities, materials, and labor pricing.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with U.S.-based project managers.
- Full-time availability, 40 hours per week.
- Ability to work Pacific Time business hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for plumbing, mechanical, and civil piping projects.
- Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Analyze material quantities, labor requirements, and pricing.
- Prepare accurate estimates for commercial, industrial, and government construction projects.
- Work within established systems and workflows, including Procore and FastPipe.
- Collaborate with project managers to review and improve estimating processes.
- Compare estimates against internal estimates and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the estimating process.
