Job Details

6+ years of experience in technical product marketing, developer relations, solutions/sales engineering, or a comparable technical role.
Experience in enterprise software, specifically databases, data infrastructure, or cloud environments.
Technical depth in databases (NoSQL and SQL), distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Ability to read architecture diagrams and write queries or code snippets.
Proven track record of building effective demos and technical content for technical audiences.
Strong competitive positioning and sales enablement experience for B2B technical products.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and executive levels.
Experience presenting to technical audiences, both in-person and on camera.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Translate complex platform capabilities into differentiated positioning and messaging for technical buyers and influencers.
Produce technical content including solution briefs, reference architectures, whitepapers, benchmark validations, and blog posts.
Develop and maintain compelling product demos and proof-of-concept assets for the field.
Conduct technical teardowns of competing databases to create battlecards, win themes, and objection handling strategies.
Equip Sales and Sales Engineering teams with technical assets, training, and talk tracks.
Represent Couchbase as a technical spokesperson at webinars, conferences, and community events.
Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to validate messaging and inform the product roadmap.
