Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience considered.
- Current experience as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, or comparable clinical professional.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Clinical education and healthcare training experience is strongly preferred.
- Project management experience is an advantage, particularly in complex healthcare or technology implementation environments.
- AHA Instructor certification in BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to educate clinical professionals effectively and influence practice.
- Strong understanding of hospital-based clinical environments.
- Strong leadership, influencing, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and iPad-based tools.
- Current passport and willingness to travel up to 75%, including cross-border travel between Canada and the United States.
- Must be based in British Columbia near a major airport.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical education and training programs across assigned hospital accounts.
- Assess customer workflows, identify learning and process needs, and recommend product configurations or approaches aligned with clinical practice.
- Provide hands-on support throughout implementation, including pre-planning, clinician education, system go-live, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
- Deliver comprehensive training and in-services to clinicians, super-users, end-users, newly hired staff, and other customer stakeholders.
- Apply adult-learning principles to assess competency, identify learning needs, and develop effective educational programs.
- Serve as the clinical and technical product expert, helping customer teams understand the technology and its role within the broader chain of resuscitation.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with nurses, physicians, department leaders, hospital executives, and other customer stakeholders.
- Act as a project manager for implementation and education initiatives, managing schedules, deliverables, communications, and follow-up.
