Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing a department or team in an office environment.
- At least 5 additional years of relevant professional experience in operations, finance, or insurance.
- Experience working with Surplus Lines insurance products.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong technical reporting skills to analyze and synthesize data from multiple systems.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and presenting actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Operations Analysts and Specialists.
- Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and agent commission processing.
- Manage daily cash flow, including bank reconciliations and discrepancy resolution.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for surplus lines reporting and tax filings.
- Monitor and optimize operational workflows to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and present insights to leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve client issues and improve systems.
