Requirements
- Experience in benefits, health insurance, or wellness technology.
- Minimum 4-5 years of customer-facing account leadership or related experience.
- Proven experience managing customer retention and account growth.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and managing commercial agreements.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to navigate procurement and legal hurdles.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and close expansion opportunities (hunter mindset).
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15-20% of the time.
- Ability to travel at least quarterly to Chicago headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Confidently own key outcomes including product adoption, utilization, and Net Dollar Retention (NDR).
- Lead end-to-end renewal and expansion sales processes, including negotiating and closing upsell opportunities.
- Execute full sales cycles by conducting deep discovery to map pain points to marketplace solutions.
- Build consultative relationships with client stakeholders ranging from day-to-day champions to C-suite executives.
- Act as primary point of contact for customer escalations, resolving complex issues with urgency.
- Provide strategic advisement on optimizing member adoption and positioning marketplace solutions.
- Leverage AI and software tools to perform data-driven analysis of book-of-business performance.
- Maintain meticulous records of customer contracts, health scores, and stakeholder updates.
- Travel to conduct customer business reviews and attend internal team meetings.
