Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales.
- 3–5+ years in a senior leadership role managing direct reports.
- Proven track record of closing and scaling multimillion-dollar strategic partnerships in fintech, consumer lending, mortgage, insurance, or digital marketplaces.
- Deep expertise in affiliate networks, performance marketing partnerships, co-branded funnels, and complex commercial deal structures.
- Strong technical and financial acumen for API/technical integrations and revenue-share modeling.
- Exceptional executive-presence and presentation skills.
- Strong existing network of executive-level relationships across financial media, fintechs, banks, and publisher networks.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and expand the Business Development team by setting clear performance targets and growth strategies.
- Ideate, pitch, structure, negotiate, and close large-scale, strategic marketing and distribution partnerships.
- Take full accountability for partnership revenue lines, managing pipeline forecasting and deal economics.
- Cultivate and maintain C-suite relationships with strategic affiliates, financial institutions, and media partners.
- Partner with Executive Leadership, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance for integration and onboarding.
- Oversee financial modeling and quantitative risk/reward frameworks for prospective partners.
- Maintain deep industry intelligence to proactively identify emerging growth channels.
