Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or statistics within a SKU-driven business environment.
- Solid grounding in statistics or operations research, specifically regression, hypothesis testing, and multivariate analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including writing data back to production systems.
- Proven track record of presenting data findings and challenging assumptions with senior executives.
- Strong understanding of SKU-level economics, including sell-through, margin, and inventory management.
- Independent executor capable of setting priorities and delivering high-impact work without waiting for direction.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Experience applying AI/ML in a business context for task automation.
- Curiosity and a high ownership mindset regarding data quality and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and Product Strategy stakeholders to define and address key strategic questions through advanced analysis and reporting.
- Apply statistical methods such as conjoint analysis and multivariate regression to determine which product attributes drive productivity.
- Systematically clean data by controlling for confounders like stock-outs, seasonality, and product lifecycle status.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues at the source within ERP, web, and product master data systems.
- Present findings independently to executive audiences, tailoring communication for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain recurring reporting to provide a clear, accurate snapshot of SKU-level productivity.
- Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive reporting and streamline data exploration workflows.
