Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production LLM systems you personally architected and shipped.
- Deep hands-on proficiency in Python and cloud-native AWS development.
- Strong technical literacy with modern AI tools such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Glean, and ChatGPT.
- Experience defining adoption metrics, instrumenting telemetry, and reporting to executive audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success driving organization-wide behavior change and running a champions network or community of practice.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with engineering, legal, security, HR, and business leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or compelling self-taught equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction of internal AI systems and personally write a large share of the code.
- Define and prototype reference architectures including RAG pipelines, agent loops, evals, LLM gateways, and observability.
- Ship production systems end-to-end and set the technical bar for code quality, security, and cost-per-outcome discipline.
- Partner with business and executive stakeholders to intake requirements, pressure-test use cases, and manage UAT acceptance.
- Recruit, train, and manage a network of AI champions to serve as sensors and accelerators for adoption.
- Design and deploy a scalable AI literacy curriculum with role-specific tracks across various departments.
- Develop adoption metrics and identify targeted interventions to address usage gaps.
- Oversee the rollout of acceptable-use policies and provide tools and support through weekly office hours.
