Requirements

  • Master’s degree in environmental science, public administration, communications, project management, marine science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience supporting projects, programs, strategic initiatives, or executive leadership.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple assignments and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Ability to synthesize complex technical or scientific information into concise briefings for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience independently coordinating projects from planning through implementation.
  • Experience managing document development processes, including scoping, drafting, and version control.
  • Experience designing, coordinating, and facilitating meetings, workshops, or stakeholder engagement activities.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms, action trackers, and document management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical experts, executives, and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, execution, and tracking of strategic initiatives involving multiple organizations, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, webinars, and stakeholder events, including scheduling, logistics, and materials.
  • Prepare executive briefings, presentations, talking points, reports, and technical summaries for leadership.
  • Present at conferences and participate in public-facing engagements with government and academic partners.
  • Draft, edit, and coordinate internal communications, technical documentation, and executive correspondence.
  • Track assignments, deadlines, and action items across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Coordinate reviews and feedback across technical teams and partner organizations to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
