Requirements
- Master’s degree in environmental science, public administration, communications, project management, marine science, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of professional experience supporting projects, programs, strategic initiatives, or executive leadership.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple assignments and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical or scientific information into concise briefings for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated experience independently coordinating projects from planning through implementation.
- Experience managing document development processes, including scoping, drafting, and version control.
- Experience designing, coordinating, and facilitating meetings, workshops, or stakeholder engagement activities.
- Familiarity with project management platforms, action trackers, and document management systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical experts, executives, and government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination, execution, and tracking of strategic initiatives involving multiple organizations, teams, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, conferences, webinars, and stakeholder events, including scheduling, logistics, and materials.
- Prepare executive briefings, presentations, talking points, reports, and technical summaries for leadership.
- Present at conferences and participate in public-facing engagements with government and academic partners.
- Draft, edit, and coordinate internal communications, technical documentation, and executive correspondence.
- Track assignments, deadlines, and action items across multiple concurrent projects.
- Coordinate reviews and feedback across technical teams and partner organizations to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
