Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or comparable technology environments.
- Significant and sustained experience owning security products or security-focused capabilities.
- Proven experience developing and executing organizational-level security product strategy and multi-year roadmaps.
- Strong hands-on understanding of database security principles and best practices.
- Deep knowledge of networking concepts and their security implications.
- In-depth expertise in identity and access management (IAM) and related security controls.
- Strong product judgment and ability to make prioritization decisions based on customer and business needs.
- Demonstrated program management capabilities including planning and risk mitigation.
- Track record of representing products externally with customers, analysts, or industry events.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other product managers.
Responsibilities
- Own the security product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap, establishing investment priorities.
- Define and prioritize security product initiatives based on customer risk, business value, and engineering effort.
- Develop deep expertise across database security, networking, and identity and access management (IAM).
- Partner with engineering and design to ensure products are secure by design.
- Lead backlog prioritization and manage trade-offs regarding scope, resources, and quality.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop go-to-market strategies for security launches.
- Serve as the organization’s security product subject-matter expert.
- Represent the security product strategy externally with strategic customers, analysts, and industry audiences.
