Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS.
- Significant and sustained focus on security products or features.
- Experience setting security strategy at an organizational level.
- Hands-on experience with database security principles and best practices.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and their security implications.
- In-depth knowledge of identity and access management (IAM).
- Solid program management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Track record of representing product externally to customers or at industry events.
- Experience guiding or informally mentoring other product managers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for security offerings.
- Partner with engineering on database security, networking, and identity and access management (IAM) details.
- Translate complex security requirements into specifications and user stories for engineering.
- Manage backlog prioritization, weighing business value, customer risk, and engineering cost.
- Drive go-to-market strategies, including positioning, sales enablement, and documentation.
- Monitor security feature performance using data to inform product development.
- Represent security posture and roadmap externally to customers, prospects, and analysts.
- Provide guidance and coaching to PMs on security-adjacent initiatives.
